PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kaplan Temrezov (ranked 3733 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Al Sulwi (ranked 25242 p4p, 678 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Temrezov throws a right and a left that Al Sulwi avoids nicely.
Al Sulwi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Temrezov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Al Sulwi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Temrezov swivels and escapes.

Temrezov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Al Sulwi napping and manages to drive through into side control!
An elbow from Temrezov crashes against the mat.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Al Sulwi is trying to control Temrezov's posture but Temrezov avoids it.
Al Sulwi tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Al Sulwi is trying to escape the position but Temrezov is controlling the position.
Temrezov wants to stand but Al Sulwi is controlling his arm.

Temrezov stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Al Sulwi tries to clinch up but Temrezov circles away and keeps his distance.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Temrezov.
Al Sulwi is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Al Sulwi is trying to control Temrezov's posture but Temrezov avoids it.
Al Sulwi is looking to reverse the position.
Al Sulwi is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Temrezov off and has taken his back!

Al Sulwi lands a shot to the body.
I really don't envy Temrezov right now.
Temrezov trying to control the hands but Al Sulwi breaks the grip.
Temrezov is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Al Sulwi has the hooks in. Temrezov is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Al Sulwi passes his arm under Temrezov's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Temrezov taps!
