Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Juan Gonzalez (ranked 4779 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Davies (ranked 24776 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez slips under a jab.
Davies tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Davies closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gonzalez circles away.
Davies shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gonzalez pinned against the cage. Gonzalez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gonzalez tries for a takedown but Davies sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Davies connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Davies shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gonzalez defends it nicely.

Gonzalez tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Davies swivels and escapes.
Gonzalez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Davies sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Davies is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Davies throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gonzalez's waist but Gonzalez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davies off to one side.
Davies drops his hands momentarily and Gonzalez takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Gonzalez closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gonzalez lands in his opponent's guard.

Davies wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gonzalez keeps working.

Davies takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Davies is keen to just control but Gonzalez is a slippery customer.
Davies passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gonzalez!

Davies wants to control the pace but Gonzalez is squirming around nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gonzalez has given up his back here.
Davies throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Davies is hanging on to Gonzalez's back as he tries to escape.

Davies is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Gonzalez defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
You can see the frustration on Gonzalez's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Davies slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
