Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wiremu Huia (ranked 3866 p4p, 392 weight class) and Cliff Rigano (ranked 4854 p4p, 460 weight class). Huia's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Poi E - Patea Maori Club. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huia dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Huia shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rigano's guard.
Rigano is trying to control the position but Huia postures up.
Huia stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rigano swivels though and keeps the full guard.
