Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Enzo Perez (ranked 287 p4p, 45 weight class) and Hans Byyler (ranked 1451 p4p, 223 weight class). Byyler is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kube - Who run it (freestyle). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hans Byyler! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perez moves into range and clinches up with Byyler. Byyler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Perez throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Byyler on the side of the head. Perez moves into the clinch successfully.
Perez lands a body punch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Perez as Byyler tries to tie him up. Byyler blocks a body shot from Perez. Perez tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Byyler's elbow. Perez misses with a short punch on the inside. Perez fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Byyler lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Perez has a couple of punches blocked by Byyler.
Perez tries to work over Byyler's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Perez lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Perez throws a punch but it's blocked by Byyler. Perez throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Perez dodges an elbow strike from Byyler.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A telegraphed right hand from Perez misses the target. Good exchange - Perez coming out on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Byyler with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Perez to score with a decent uppercut. Perez misses with a wild body shot. Perez clinches up against the cage. Byyler blocks an uppercut.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Perez throws a head punch that misses. Byyler putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Perez in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Perez scores with a shoulder strike. Byyler has Perez pressed against the cage.

It looks like Enzo Perez has been cut. Byyler cracks Perez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A big right from Perez misses. Perez lands with a right hand.

Perez is rocked! Byyler closes the distance looking to clinch and Perez counters with a nice uppercut. Byyler tries to bum rush Perez with a series of wild strikes but Perez uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Perez darts in and clinches Byyler up against the cage. Perez lands a hook to the side of the head. Byyler's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Byyler moves to clinch but Perez breaks away and Perez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Byyler moves into the clinch successfully.

Byyler throws a punch but it's blocked by Perez. Perez lands on the inside with an uppercut. Perez lands an uppercut. Byyler is stalling here.
Perez digs a right hand into Byyler's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Byyler's gas tank. Perez lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Byyler backwards. Byyler working aggressively here.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Perez creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Perez makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Perez blocks a body shot from Byyler. Byyler blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Perez gets through Byyler's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Byyler has Perez pressed against the cage.
Perez presses Byyler against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Enzo Perez dominated that round. The cut man is working on Enzo Perez's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Perez cracks Byyler with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Byyler looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Perez finish him?
The fighters circle, before Perez throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Byyler's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Perez lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Enzo Perez! Enzo Perez retains his light heavyweight title! A relieved looking Enzo Perez thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
