Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Force drops down looking for an ankle pick but Couture pulls his leg out and moves away.
Thiago Couture has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derek Force.

Force is looking for a kimura but Couture is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Force to get the leverage.
Still in half guard, Force seems content to control.
Couture tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Force is trying to control the action in half guard but Couture is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Force is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Couture is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
