Cruz misses with a low kick.
Lincekum throws a series of punches but Cruz moves out of range.

enabling Cruz to counter with a crisp jab.

Cruz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cruz shoots for a double leg takedown but Lincekum sprawls well. He's pushed Cruz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

It seemed like Lincekum was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Tim Lincekum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cruz is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lincekum sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Cruz is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Lincekum is forced to tap! Great finish!

An intense looking Dom Cruz took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Ive said it over and over. No one can match my training, my speed, my intelligence. I won this fight before I stepped into the ring.'.
