Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alan Patton (ranked 25073 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Baller (ranked 3579 p4p, 413 weight class). Big Baller has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Alan Patton's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan Patton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Big Baller! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patton scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Patton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Baller misses with a few strikes there.
A solid body kick from Baller. Patton looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Baller has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Patton has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Patton jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Baller walks away with a smile on his face. Patton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Baller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Patton, pushing him back against the cage. Patton pulls guard successfully.
Baller controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Patton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Baller on the ground. It looks like Baller might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Patton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Patton wants to get back to his feet but Baller is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Baller not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Baller pushing down on Patton's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Baller is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Patton defends it well. Well, if Baller is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Baller is trying to work for a kimura but Patton is defending well.
Patton has hold of Baller's hands but Baller slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baller seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Baller tries to pass the half guard into mount. Patton knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Baller is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Patton has managed to free his arm - good work. Baller trying to mount his opponent but Patton defends it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Baller is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Patton trying to control from the bottom.
Baller has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Baller is standing up, even though he is in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big Baller dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Patton shoots in looking for a takedown but Baller manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Patton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. It seemed like Baller was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Baller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Baller advances to half guard. Baller takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Baller is figuring out what he wants to do next. Baller is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baller is controlling the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baller wants to free his trapped foot but Patton is holding on for dear life with his legs. Baller moves nicely into side control. Baller slows the pace down. Baller is trying to get an arm triangle but Patton is defending well. Big Baller has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Baller landing a few strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Baller is chipping away with strikes.
Patton being controlled for a moment. Baller cracks Patton with a big elbow. Baller advances nicely into full mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baller controlling the position easily from mount. Baller pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Baller content just to control the position here. Baller connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Baller lands a heavy elbow.
Patton is rocked! Baller is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Patton is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Patton flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Baller anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Patton and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Baller slips an arm under Patton chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Baller has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Baller is squeezing on Patton like an anaconda would it's prey. Patton fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Big Baller!
