The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lopez doesn't seem bothered though.
Lopez misses with a few strikes there.
Lopez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bailey swings for the body but Lopez moves out of range.
Lopez looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Bailey digs a good hook to Lopez's body.
Lopez misses with a looping left.
Bailey lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bailey lands a left and a right that send Lopez crashing to the mat, dazed. Bailey thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Miguel Lopez has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bailey punishes Lopez's body with a nice straight punch.
Bailey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bailey thuds a left hand into Lopez's body.

Bailey scores with a one two! Lopez had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Lopez's coach down at Midnight MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lopez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Bailey throws a nice inside leg kick.
Lopez takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Bailey throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bailey scoring well with a low kick there.
Bailey's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lopez under the eye.
Bailey smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Lopez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bailey to score with a decent uppercut.
Lopez throws a series of punches but Bailey avoids them all with ease.
Lopez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bailey.
Lopez gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bailey lands a jab to the head.
Lopez is still on wobbly legs! Can Bailey finish him?

Bailey drops Lopez with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lopez looks back up at him and smiles so Bailey waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bailey cracks Lopez with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bailey has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lopez to stand back up!
Bailey misses with a few strikes there.
Lopez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bailey moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lopez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Bailey lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lopez at a distance.
Bailey steps in with a hook that catches Lopez right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Bailey follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Lopez looks absolutely devastated.
