Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dwain Lara (ranked 24628 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tzvi Aderumi (ranked 5896 p4p, 0 weight class). Dwain Lara has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwain Lara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tzvi Aderumi! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aderumi clinches up with Lara and pushes him back against the cage. Aderumi jumps guard.
Lara in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Aderumi pushes Lara off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Lara throws a right and a left that both miss. Aderumi appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Aderumi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Lara! Lara prevents Aderumi from moving into mount. Lara really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lara manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Lara is looking to escape. Aderumi trying to pass the guard but Lara defending well. Aderumi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aderumi decides to stand and escape the position. Aderumi gets the takedown into side control. Aderumi tries for a kimura but Lara is defending well. Lara can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aderumi controls the position. Aderumi sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Lara is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The ground and pound from Aderumi seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Lara being controlled for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. It looks like Aderumi might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lara keeping his opponent close. Aderumi remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Aderumi shoots in and gets a takedown into Lara's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aderumi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lara working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Aderumi. Aderumi sitting in guard, not really doing much. Lara will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lara is trying to keep Aderumi in close.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Aderumi stands up and waves to Lara to follow him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tzvi Aderumi dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Aderumi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Aderumi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Lara is not content to let Aderumi control the position. Aderumi misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lara is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Aderumi off and has taken his back! Aderumi trying to get back to his feet but Lara is in full control for now. Aderumi wants to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lara working for a choke but Aderumi is defending well. Aderumi can't escape the position.
Aderumi trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Aderumi rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Aderumi works his way to full guard. Good work. Lara stopping the sweep attempt from Aderumi. Aderumi has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Aderumi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lara defends it easily. Aderumi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lara's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aderumi is standing up over Lara. Lara looks to escape but Aderumi dives into side control.
Tzvi Aderumi has got the better of the ground game so far. Lara manages to work his way to half guard, despite Aderumi's best efforts. Lara is trying to get back to full guard. Aderumi sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Lara defending well though. Aderumi is figuring out what he wants to do next. Lara is defending against the submission attempts here by Aderumi.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aderumi keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Aderumi wants to pass to mount but Lara is defending the position. Lara keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Aderumi controlling the action here. Aderumi is stalling here. Lara is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Aderumi seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lara has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Lara decides to stand back up. Lara steps back and let's Aderumi get back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lara tries for a takedown but Aderumi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Aderumi drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Lara defends it well. Aderumi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lara's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Tzvi Aderumi will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Aderumi tries a head kick but it misses.
Lara gets caught napping as Aderumi dives in and scores a takedown. Lara manages to retain guard. Lara is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Aderumi dives into side control.
Lara keeps Aderumi under control for a moment. Aderumi looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Lara is avoiding damage well.

Aderumi looking to control but instead Lara has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Aderumi performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Aderumi is trying to work for a kimura but Lara is defending well.
Aderumi throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Lara to regain full guard. Lara can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Aderumi controls the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Aderumi dives in and scores a takedown into Lara's guard. Aderumi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Aderumi is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aderumi decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Aderumi closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lara did well to prevent Aderumi getting side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Aderumi is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Aderumi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Tzvi Aderumi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Aderumi has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
