And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Denton Willis!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rosales rushes Willis and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Rosales manages to break the clinch.

Willis looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rosales is trying to stand.
Rosales trying to control but Willis postures up.
Willis is pressing down on Rosales's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rosales is holding on for now.

Rosales is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Willis pulls his head out easily.
Rosales is looking for a sweep. Willis is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rosales is staying active underneath Willis, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Rosales manages to get to full guard.
Rosales is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Willis manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rosales on his heels. He'll look to pass Rosales's guard now, I'm sure.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rosales is on top in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Willis looking to score a takedown here. Rosales is defending well but Willis drives through and ends up in Rosales's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rosales manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Willis manages to get himself to full guard.

Rosales works over Willis with some ground and pound from guard.

Rosales thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Willis throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rosales uses it to pass to side control.

Willis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rosales quickly recovers to half guard.

Rosales wants to improve his position but Willis is controlling well.

Willis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rosales does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Willis closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Rosales throws Willis to one side and escapes!
Rosales tries to score a power double leg takedown but Willis sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rosales somewhat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Willis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rosales's guard.
Willis stops Rosales from standing up.
Willis controls from within his opponent's guard.

Rosales missing with a left hand there. Willis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Willis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Willis throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rosales was covering up waiting for the punch and Willis finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Rosales pushes Willis off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Willis is looking to clinch but Rosales is avoiding it.
Willis leaves Rosales with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Rosales gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Willis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rosales has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Willis has managed to get both his arms back between Rosales's legs - danger averted.
Rosales is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Willis is controlling him.
Willis stays in close to Rosales's body and controls the position.

Rosales uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Willis shoots in and gets a takedown into Rosales's guard.

Willis closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rosales to the mat! Rosales manages to get full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rosales, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
