Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Reid (ranked 1529 p4p, 192 weight class) and Sammmy Kilbach (ranked 2652 p4p, 305 weight class). Reid's entrance music is Living in America by James Brown. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Apollo Reid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sammmy Kilbach! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilbach lands a head shot. Kilbach changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kilbach throws a body shot but no joy. Kilbach looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kilbach waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Reid. Jab, jab by Kilbach - just one landing. Apollo Reid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reid throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reid throws an overhand right that lands on Kilbach's shoulder, as Kilbach tries to avoid the shot. Reid turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Reid swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice shot by Kilbach. Kilbach lands a jab. Reid throws a leg kick that misses. Kilbach looks to land a right hand but Reid moved out of range. This has been an exciting period of action! Reid does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Reid misses with a wild body shot. Kilbach lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Reid at a distance.
A head kick misses from Reid. Reid takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Reid takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Kilbach throws out a powerful jab.
Reid is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch combination from Reid misses. Reid swings widly with a right hand
and Kilbach makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kilbach swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Reid goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Reid sets himself, and Kilbach steps forward looking for the clinch! Reid avoids it this time. Kilbach connects with a body shot that sends Reid's belly button to the back. Kilbach lands with a nice body punch. Reid is breathing heavily. Reid shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Reid takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Reid tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kilbach moves into range and clinches up with Reid. Reid misses with a punch on the inside.
Reid breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Reid moves out of range as Kilbach strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Reid takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A lazy left from Kilbach finds it's target. Kilbach misses with a series of wild punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reid throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kilbach. Good exchange - Kilbach coming out on top. Kilbach lands a jab to Reid's midsection. Kilbach moves out of range as Reid strikes. Reid throws a combination that misses and Kilbach counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kilbach. Reid is trying to break free. Reid is trying to push Kilbach away but Kilbach has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Kilbach escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reid takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kilbach throws a shot from downtown. Reid moves away and avoids it. Kilbach comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kilbach connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Jab, jab by Kilbach - just one landing. Kilbach is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Reid had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Reid throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kilbach counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Oh Reid is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The fight moves into the clinch position. Kilbach softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Our sources have told us that Reid has been working on his elbows in the gym.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilbach has Reid pressed against the cage, preventing Reid from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Reid seems to have got his legs back now. Kilbach is leaning against Reid and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Kilbach lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Reid or not. Kilbach scores with an uppercut up the middle. Kilbach lands an uppercut. Reid tries a knee to the head but Kilbach blocks it.
Kilbach lands an uppercut. Reid tries to circle away but Kilbach has him pinned against the cage. A body shot lands from Kilbach.
Reid lands an elbow inside. Kilbach pushes Reid back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Kilbach lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Reid using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kilbach has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Kilbach scores with an uppercut up the middle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kilbach lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Kilbach gets through Reid's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reid wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kilbach avoids the elbow strike from Reid, against the cage.
A short body shot lands from Kilbach as the two fighters clinch.
Reid is trying to break free. Reid swings wildly with an uppercut but Kilbach uses good head movement to avoid it. Kilbach breaks from the clinch.
Kilbach cracks Reid with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Reid looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kilbach finish him?
Kilbach comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kilbach ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kilbach scores with a crisp jab that stopped Reid in his tracks. Reid throws a body shot but no joy. Reid tries to bum rush Kilbach with a series of wild strikes but Kilbach uses good footwork to avoid the assault. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sammmy Kilbach dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kilbach cracks a nice hook into Reid's ribs. Reid throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A shot to the liver by Kilbach. Beautiful body shot. Kilbach fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Reid, pushing him back against the cage. Kilbach breaks from the clinch.
Kilbach sends Reid crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kilbach is motioning to the referee to let Reid up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Reid on the wrong end of a nice hook. Reid throws a sloppy head kick and Kilbach moves out of range easily. Kilbach walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Reid drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Kilbach swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Reid's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sammmy Kilbach! Sammmy Kilbach was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. Apollo Reid was interviewed post fight and said 'Good luck.'.
