Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dao Sonnen (ranked 30 p4p, 6 weight class) and Pablo Mara�on (ranked 11 p4p, 3 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sonnen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Devil's Doorbell. Mara�on has chosen Pistolero as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mara�on moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Mara�on looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Sonnen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mara�on tries to avoid it but Sonnen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mara�on to the ground. Mara�on escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It seemed like Mara�on was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Mara�on is looking to score with low kicks.
Mara�on misses with a left hand
and Sonnen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mara�on pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sonnen half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

After winning the bout, Pablo Mara�on thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
