Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dao Sonnen (ranked 30 p4p, 6 weight class) and Pablo Maraçon (ranked 11 p4p, 3 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sonnen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Devil's Doorbell. Maraçon has chosen Pistolero as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maraçon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maraçon looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Sonnen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maraçon tries to avoid it but Sonnen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maraçon to the ground. Maraçon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It seemed like Maraçon was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
