Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maunu Tua (ranked 4112 p4p, 530 weight class) and Paul Daniels (ranked 7195 p4p, 685 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Maunu Tua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Paul Daniels!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tua scores with a jab to the head.
Daniels slips under a jab from Tua.
Daniels is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Daniels throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tua seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Daniels closes the distance but Tua moves to the side
enabling Tua to counter with a crisp jab.
Nice straight punches there by Tua. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tua.

Daniels gets the takedown into side control.
Tua is trying to improve his position.
Tua is working hard here to advance position.
Daniels in side control, throwing shots but Tua defends.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That was a close round but I would say that Maunu Tua will probably get the nod.

Paul Daniels is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Paul Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Maunu Tua dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Daniels working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Tua looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Daniels! Submission of the night perhaps?

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Paul Daniels!
After winning the bout, Paul Daniels thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
