The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filipovich gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Giant's coach down at Island Safe Space was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Giant's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Filipovich misses with a punch on the inside.
Giant manages to break the clinch.
Giant lands with an uppercut that bounces Filipovich off the cage and back into range.
Giant slips a jab from Filipovich.
Giant throws the left hand but Filipovich avoids the punch easily.
Filipovich wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Filipovich misses with an uppercut. Giant saw that one coming.
The crowd cheers as Giant lands an impressive looking overhand right. Filipovich doesn't seem phased though.
Giant tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Filipovich tries to counter by clinching up but Giant breaks away and moves out of range.
Filipovich fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Giant manages to avoid it.
Giant throws a body shot but no joy.
Giant cracks Filipovich with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Filipovich looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Giant finish him?
It looks like Fedor Filipovich has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Giant slips a jab from Filipovich.
Filipovich moves out of range as Giant strikes.
Giant tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Filipovich paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Filipovich throws a big shot that misses.

Filipovich throws a jab but it's blocked by Giant.
Giant lands a big right hand that sends Filipovich crashing to the mat! Giant stays standing though and waves Filipovich back to his feet!
