Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chadwin De Chandler (ranked 997 p4p, 136 weight class) and Akihito Yamato (ranked 2800 p4p, 310 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chadwin De Chandler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akihito Yamato!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Chandler shoots in looking for a takedown. Yamato tries to sprawl out of it but De Chandler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yamato manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Yamato is clearly trying to counter these attacks from De Chandler with a body shot.
De Chandler slips a straight right by Yamato.
De Chandler has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from De Chandler there as he acknowledges the shot.
We've been hearing reports that De Chandler has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Yamato moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Yamato throws a big shot that misses.
De Chandler takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yamato gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
De Chandler thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
De Chandler is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Yamato looking to hit a scissor sweep but De Chandler is one step ahead there.
De Chandler content to stall in guard here.
De Chandler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yamato swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as De Chandler accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
De Chandler throwing strikes but missing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Yamato avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
De Chandler thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
De Chandler drops back looking for a leg! Yamato is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yamato manages to kick De Chandler off! De Chandler jumps back into Yamato's guard.
Yamato working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from De Chandler.
De Chandler landing with the ground and pound.
De Chandler drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Yamato manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now De Chandler has Yamato in his guard.
De Chandler wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
De Chandler has his feet on Yamato's thighs here. He's pushed Yamato off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Yamato screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
