Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stacey Parks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Calvin Moore!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Parks avoids it really well and circles away.
Parks is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Parks pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Parks will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Parks throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Moore was covering up waiting for the punch and Parks finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Moore working a defensive guard here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moore can do anything to dispel that myth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parks with a nice head shot there.
Parks lands a couple of digs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moore is trying to keep Parks in close.
Parks postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moore preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Parks postures up.
Parks working some strikes from top position.
Moore looking to control but Parks passes into half guard.
Parks seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Moore keeping hold of Parks's head, controlling as best he can.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Parks is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Moore has managed to free his arm - good work.
Moore is trying to control but can't.
Parks lands strikes from half guard.
Moore really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Moore trying to hold on to Parks's head to control him but Parks postures up.
Moore pushes Parks off but Parks dives into side control.

Parks cracks Moore with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Parks tries for a kimura but Moore is defending well.
Parks works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Parks in side control lands a decent elbow.
Parks could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Parks lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Parks tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Parks has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Parks in side control lands a decent elbow.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Moore takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Parks working the body and head with strikes.

Parks is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Moore has escaped the position, nice work there.
Moore is trying to control Parks's posture but Parks avoids it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Parks tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Parks has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stacey Parks dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Moore tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Parks rushes Moore and presses him up against the cage.
Moore pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Parks has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Moore regains guard immediately.
Parks is standing up over Moore. Moore looks to escape but Parks dives into side control.

Parks scores with a couple of short elbows.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moore looking for a sweep but Parks has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Parks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Parks unloading with bombs!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Parks lands with some strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moore is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Parks locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Moore is forced to tap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Stacey Parks!
