The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braz shoots in for a double leg but Sinytsyn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sinytsyn is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Braz with a body shot.
Braz shoots for a double leg takedown but Sinytsyn sprawls well. He's pushed Braz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Braz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sinytsyn's waist but Sinytsyn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Braz off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shoei Braz. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Braz.
A head kick from Sinytsyn lands but Braz takes it in his stride.

Sinytsyn comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Sinytsyn tries to bum rush Braz with a series of wild strikes but Braz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sinytsyn lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Braz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sinytsyn sprawls well. Sinytsyn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Braz gets slowly back to his feet.
Sinytsyn scores with a hook to the body. Braz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Braz closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sinytsyn circles away.

Braz seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Braz closes the distance and clinches up with Sinytsyn, looking for a takedown. Braz pushes Sinytsyn against the cage but Sinytsyn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sinytsyn now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Braz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sinytsyn is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Sinytsyn manages to break the clinch.
Braz seems to have got his legs back now.
Sinytsyn is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Braz looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sinytsyn regains full guard. Nicely done.
Braz prevents Sinytsyn from getting back to his feet.
Sinytsyn pushes Braz off and gets back to his feet.
Sinytsyn slaps away a takedown attempt from Braz, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Braz shoots in looking for a takedown. Sinytsyn tries to sprawl out of it but Braz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sinytsyn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Braz doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sinytsyn stalks Braz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Braz's face. Braz staggers backwards, shaken.
Shoei Braz's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Sinytsyn lands with a straight right. Braz didn't see that one coming.
Sinytsyn has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Sinytsyn drives through and clinches with Braz against the cage.
Sinytsyn working the clinch nicely. Braz is working for position but Sinytsyn cracks him with a big knee to the head! Braz crumples up against the cage and Sinytsyn lands two more shots before the ref can save Braz! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Aleksandr Sinytsyn thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
