The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thighpunch ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sykes takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Thighpunch moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Sykes takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sykes gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Thighpunch counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A shot to the liver by Thighpunch. Beautiful body shot.
Thighpunch connects with a looping right hand.
Thighpunch dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sykes tries for a takedown but Thighpunch circles away easily
and Thighpunch counters with a stiff right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sykes shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Thighpunch counters with a crisp right that sends Sykes to the canvas! Thighpunch follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

After the fight, Butch Thighpunch was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
