Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Myles Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drogovan Skrtic!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skrtic darts in trying to clinch

and Storm counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Storm.
Storm trying to control the position from guard on top but Skrtic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Skrtic is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Storm looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Storm is pushing down on Skrtic's leg trying to pass to half guard. Skrtic is fighting to maintain full guard but Storm has managed to sneak the leg through.
Skrtic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Skrtic is trying to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Storm is trying to work for a kimura but Skrtic is defending well.
Skrtic moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Storm can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Skrtic is looking to escape.

Storm thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Skrtic keeping moving, preventing Storm from controlling successfully.

Skrtic looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Storm trying to control but Skrtic is working from the bottom.

Skrtic has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Storm doesn't defend quickly enough and Skrtic has managed to lock this one up! Can Storm escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Skrtic on a fantastic submission victory.

After the fight, Drogovan Skrtic was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
