Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kaplan Temrezov (ranked 4913 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Karakhanyan (ranked 7224 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Temrezov doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Karakhanyan counters with a stiff right hand.

Temrezov feints a jab promting Karakhanyan to slip. Temrezov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Karakhanyan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Temrezov gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Karakhanyan tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Temrezov shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Karakhanyan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Temrezov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Karakhanyan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Karakhanyan seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Temrezov content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Karakhanyan has locked up a guillotine! Karakhanyan's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Temrezov is holding on here and Karakhanyan must be using up a lot of energy. Temrezov has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Karakhanyan gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
