Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikhail Kalashnikov (ranked 7620 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milos Miskovic (ranked 5100 p4p, 0 weight class). Milos Miskovic will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mikhail Kalashnikov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Milos Miskovic! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Miskovic is defended easily by Kalashnikov. Kalashnikov doesn't succeed with the takedown and Miskovic counters with a three punch combo that has Kalashnikov backing up. Kalashnikov nods at Miskovic to acknowledge the strikes. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kalashnikov tries for a takedown but Miskovic sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A nice combination there by Miskovic.
The fighters circle momentarily. Miskovic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Miskovic connects with a body shot. Miskovic lands a jab-cross combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kalashnikov shoots and misses and Miskovic counters with a lovely straight right hand! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikhail Kalashnikov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miskovic stuffs the takedown attempt from Kalashnikov. Kalashnikov gets slowly back to his feet. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Miskovic! But no joy. Kalashnikov misses with a takedown letting Miskovic counter with a right hand. Kalashnikov ducks right into an uppercut from Miskovic. Kalashnikov shoots in for a double leg but Miskovic sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Despite the aggression on Miskovic's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Nice sprawl there from Miskovic as Kalashnikov shoots in. Miskovic scores with a nice head shot. Miskovic moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miskovic lands a jab. Miskovic defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kalashnikov. Miskovic throws a one two combo.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kalashnikov. Miskovic misses with a series of wild punches.
Kalashnikov drops down looking for a counter takedown but Miskovic sprawls and moves away. Miskovic closes the distance and clinches. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kalashnikov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Miskovic pulls his leg out and moves away.
Miskovic digs a good hook to Kalashnikov's body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kalashnikov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Miskovic to the mat! Miskovic manages to get full guard. Miskovic preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Miskovic keeping moving, preventing Kalashnikov from controlling successfully. Miskovic being controlled here, momentarily. Kalashnikov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Miskovic is keeping the position for now. Kalashnikov postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kalashnikov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kalashnikov scoring with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kalashnikov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Miskovic works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Miskovic really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kalashnikov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Miskovic is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kalashnikov is controlling him. Kalashnikov slips nicely into half guard. Kalashnikov scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kalashnikov lands strikes from half guard. Kalashnikov is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
It looks like Milos Miskovic has been cut. Miskovic keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kalashnikov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Miskovic sees it coming and defends easily. Kalashnikov winds up and cracks Miskovic with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Miskovic is trying to control but can't.
Kalashnikov slips a nice elbow through Miskovic's hands, connecting with Miskovic's forehead.
Miskovic is rocked!
That has opened up Milos Miskovic's cut even more. Kalashnikov creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Miskovic is out cold and this one is all over! Kalashnikov climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mikhail Kalashnikov!
