The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riise tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Riise misses with a low kick as Taylor jumps back.
Taylor rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Riise moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Taylor takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Taylor tries to bum rush Riise with a series of wild strikes but Riise uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Some bone on bone action there as Riise checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Taylor takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Riise dives in for a single leg takedown but Taylor sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to John Riise.
