Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lionel Beaubois (ranked 4493 p4p, 356 weight class) and Rodrigo Gracie (ranked 4847 p4p, 378 weight class). Rodrigo Gracie told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Beaubois is trying to defend but Gracie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Gracie drops an elbow to the side of Beaubois's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie is trying for a kimura here. Beaubois looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Gracie wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Rodrigo Gracie!
A relieved looking Rodrigo Gracie thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
