Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Scarn (ranked 2068 p4p, 252 weight class) and Jefferson Murillo (ranked 1103 p4p, 131 weight class). Jefferson Murillo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Michael Scarn's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Scarn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Jefferson Murillo! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scarn doesn't manage to clinch there - Murillo circles away.
Murillo throws an overhand right that lands on Scarn's shoulder, as Scarn tries to avoid the shot. Murillo throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Murillo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Scarn has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Murillo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Scarn. Scarn avoids the body shot from Murillo.
Sloppy strikes from Scarn. Those never looked like landing. Scarn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Murillo. Murillo circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Murillo has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Scarn. Murillo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Scarn throws a leg kick but Murillo checks it. Murillo throws a jab when Scarn was well out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Scarn is defended easily by Murillo. Scarn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Murillo is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Scarn with a body shot. Scarn slips under a jab from Murillo. It looked like Scarn wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scarn shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Murillo defends it nicely. Murillo dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Murillo lands with an uppercut that bounces Scarn off the cage and back into range. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Scarn. Murillo shrugs it off though. Murillo misses with a right hand and Scarn counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Scarn smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Murillo misses with a few strikes there.
As Murillo backs away, Scarn returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Scarn moves out of range of the strikes. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Scarn.
Scarn misses the jab. Scarn is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Murillo. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Murillo scores with a nice right hand.

and Scarn counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Murillo thinking. Scarn jabs Murillo to the body, keeping him at a distance. Scarn misses with a wild body shot. Scarn throws a body kick that misses. Scarn throws a left and a right that both miss
and Murillo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Scarn's knee momentarily. Murillo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Scarn looks to throw a body kick and Murillo counters with a good low kick that Scarn was not able to check. Scarn finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A little jabbing left from Murillo on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Scarn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Murillo to counter with a crisp jab. Scarn takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Murillo misses with a body kick. Scarn slips a jab from Murillo. Scarn fires out a quick counter leg kick but Murillo just manages to avoid it. A jab from Murillo misses. Scarn steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Murillo. Scarn bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A quick step to the side and Scarn tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A combination from Scarn does no damage. Scarn looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Murillo throws a shot from downtown. Scarn moves away and avoids it. Scarn slips a straight right by Murillo. Scarn throws a series of punches but Murillo moves out of range. Scarn connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Scarn avoids a kick to the body.
Scarn wants to land a leg kick but Murillo is out of range. Murillo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Scarn. Nice takedown defense from Murillo. No joy for Scarn on that attempt. Murillo looks to land a left hand but Scarn moved out of range nicely. Murillo throws a body kick that misses and Scarn counters with a nice leg kick. Scarn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Murillo missing with a left hand there. Scarn was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A decent looking body kick lands there for Scarn. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Murillo connects with a jab. Murillo slips under a jab. Murillo listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Murillo blocks a jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Scarn moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Murillo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Scarn closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Murillo wants to stand back up but Scarn manages to pass into side control.
Murillo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Scarn asserts his dominance and retains side control. Murillo sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Scarn is trying to control. Murillo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Murillo regains full guard. Nicely done. Scarn lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Murillo keeping moving, preventing Scarn from controlling successfully. Scarn controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murillo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Scarn is controlling him. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Murillo is on top in guard.
Murillo wanted to stand there but Scarn had control of the position. Scarn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Murillo wants to control from the top but Scarn keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murillo chips away with some ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Murillo accidentally thumps the mat. and Murillo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Murillo throws a head kick but Scarn moves out of range.

Murillo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Murillo was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Scarn looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

A left lands for Scarn. Murillo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Scarn sees it coming and avoids it easily. Murillo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Scarn manages to avoid it. Scarn tries to score with a low kick but Murillo moves his leg out of the way. Scarn lands a lovely overhand right. Scarn throws a nice looking combination but Murillo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A shot to the liver by Scarn. Beautiful body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jefferson Murillo will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Scarn just misses with a elbow thrown towards Murillo's brow. Scarn lands a left hand that snaps the head of Murillo backwards. A head punch blocked on the inside by Murillo. Nice elbow from Scarn. Scarn throws an elbow but it's blocked.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Murillo throws a solid leg kick but Scarn takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Murillo. Scarn fires out a quick counter leg kick but Murillo just manages to avoid it. Murillo ducks under a wild hook from Scarn. Scarn throws a right hand that Murillo ducks under and follows up with a left that Murillo also avoids with ease. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Murillo throws a body shot but no joy. Murillo blocks a head kick by Scarn.
