The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz works over Sadeq's head and body with a nice combination.
Diaz lands with a straight right. Sadeq didn't see that one coming.
Sadeq drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Diaz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Sadeq shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Diaz but Diaz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sadeq ducks right into an uppercut from Diaz.
Diaz stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Diaz connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sadeq. Sadeq circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

and Sadeq decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Diaz's guard.

Sadeq makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Sadeq has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Sadeq arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Diaz's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
