Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dab Calharran (ranked 3228 p4p, 358 weight class) and Emo Hoxha (ranked 4359 p4p, 465 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calharran goes for a double leg but Hoxha avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hoxha continues to drive forward.
Hoxha scores with the left hand. Calharran knows he should have avoided that one.
Hoxha lands a jab to the nose.
No joy there for Hoxha, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Calharran changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Hoxha misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Calharran.
Calharran drops down looking for a counter takedown but Hoxha sprawls and moves away.
Hoxha throws a looping overhand right but Calharran ducks down to avoid it.

Hoxha shoots in and bounces Calharran off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Calharran is pulling down on Hoxha's head. It's preventing any offense from Hoxha, at least for the moment.
Hoxha would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Hoxha must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hoxha moves into range and clinches up with Calharran.
Calharran drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hoxha gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Calharran loads up on a big left hand. Hoxha felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Calharran looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Hoxha can't hide his disappointment, as Calharran celebrates the victory.
