Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lua Tam (ranked 3747 p4p, 0 weight class) and SD Blayze (ranked 23740 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Lua Tam has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lua Tam! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, SD Blayze! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tam tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Blayze blocks a head kick by Tam.
A head kick misses from Tam. Blayze tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tam swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tam fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Blayze has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Blayze steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Tam. That one must have hurt. Tam dodges the punch combination from Blayze.
Tam thows a body kick. Blayze tries to catch it but that hurt him. Blayze misses with a takedown attempt - Tam sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tam scores with a punch to the head. Tam throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Tam lands a nice looking kick to the body. Blayze takes a step back to recover.

Blayze misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tam scores with a body shot.
Tam takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Tam looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tam throws a body punch but Blayze moves out of range. Blayze drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Tam defends it well. Tam leaves Blayze with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Tam throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Tam scores with a jab. Tam buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Tam dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Blayze. That did some damage! Tam lands the left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. No luck for Tam with that takedown attempt. Lua Tam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Tam punishes Blayze's body with a nice straight punch. Tam throws a right and a left that both miss. Tam throws a head kick but Blayze moves out of range.
Tam stuffs the takedown. Lua Tam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of SD Blayze. Tam feints and then cracks Blayze's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Blayze down. Tam scores with a nice body kick.
Tam clinches. Blayze goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tam prevents it.
Tam wants to break free but Blayze has control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blayze breaks from the clinch.
Blayze leaves Tam with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Tam is breathing heavily. Tam lets loose with a powerful body kick. Blayze will feel that in the morning. Tam tries to clinch up but Blayze circles away and keeps his distance. No luck for Blayze with that takedown attempt. An inside leg kick lands from Tam. Tam is looking to slow Blayze down with leg kicks. Tam avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tam shoots in looking for a takedown but Blayze manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tam's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tam throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Blayze on the wrong end of a nice jab. Blayze sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tam lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Blayze has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Blayze and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Tam slaps away a takedown attempt from Blayze, before circling back to the center of the mat. Blayze blocks a head kick by Tam.
Tam leaves Blayze with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Blayze will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Tam cracks Blayze with a good jab. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tam tries to clinch there but Blayze circles away.
Blayze tries to counter with a clinch but Tam shakes him off and moves away. Blayze is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tam sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lua Tam dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A slapping body kick lands there for Tam. Blayze takes one on the button. Blayze has a takedown stuffed. Tam is looking to clinch. And Blayze tries to counter it with a takedown but Tam pushes his down on his head and steps out. Tam moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Blayze misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Blayze throws a wild combination but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Some wild striking there from Blayze.

Blayze unleashes a big counter combination but Tam bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Tam shoots in and drives through. Blayze sprawls well. Blayze tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tam defends well and Blayze ends up having to push Tam into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Lua Tam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of SD Blayze. Blayze dives in and grabs Tam's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tam pushes down on Blayze's head and hops out. Tam shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Blayze as he avoids it easily. Blayze unleashes a big counter combination but Tam bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Tam is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Blayze can do to turn this around? Tam shoots in but no luck this time. Lua Tam is winning the standup battle so far. Tam moves in looking to clinch but Blayze pushes him off. A nice combination there by Tam.
Blayze shoots in and drives through. Tam sprawls well. Tam throws a counter high kick but Blayze was just alert enough to avoid it. Blayze misses with a takedown attempt - Tam sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A jab lands there for Tam.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tam lands with a shot to the body. Blayze takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Tam connects with a leg kick. Blayze looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Blayze has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Tam. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Blayze gets a clinch. Blayze escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tam wants to clinch up but Blayze keeps it at a distance. Tam shoots in for a takedown but Blayze shows good takedown defense. Tam tries to clinch but Blayze is having none of it. Tam scores with a leg kick.

Blayze lands a two punch combo.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tam.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blayze scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Tam is trying to get back to half guard. Blayze content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Blayze stands up and beckons Tam to his feet. Tam throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Blayze raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Tam tries to close the distance and clinch but Blayze swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blayze dives in for a single leg takedown but Tam sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Lua Tam is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Tam scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Blayze clinches up against the cage. Tam trying to control the position but instead, Blayze has worked for underhooks and has pushed Tam into the cage. Blayze's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Blayze is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Blayze is trying to drag Tam to the mat but Tam just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lua Tam dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Tam takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Blayze shoots in for a takedown but Tam shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Tam lands with a cross. Tam has closed the distance and engaged Blayze in a clinch.
Blayze looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Tam gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Blayze.
Blayze pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blayze moves into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tam lands a hook that snaps the head of Blayze backwards. Blayze wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tam has him pressed against the cage. Blayze keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tam's efforts to push away. Blayze is trying to drag Tam to the mat but Tam just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Lua Tam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of SD Blayze. Blayze is pressed up against the cage. Tam has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Blayze down to the mat. Blayze avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Blayze's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tam connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Blayze scrambles back to his feet. Tam looks to land a body kick but Blayze moved away. Blayze wants to counter the offense by Tam and move into the clinch position. Blayze has a takedown stuffed. Blayze takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tam with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Tam doesn't manage to clinch there - Blayze circles away.
Tam tries to score a power double leg takedown but Blayze sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tam somewhat. Tam is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nice shot by Blayze. Tam is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A countering left hand to the body from Blayze misses.

Blayze misses with a low kick. Tam shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blayze as he jumps to the side. Tam stuffs the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blayze chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tam can pounce on him.
Tam tries to close the distance and clinch up but Blayze swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tam stuffs the takedown attempt from Blayze. Blayze gets slowly back to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tam is defended easily by Blayze. Blayze misses with a takedown attempt - Tam sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Tam darts in and clinches Blayze up against the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tam scores with a knee to the head.
SD Blayze has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lua Tam is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tam will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Blayze up against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Lua Tam showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tam, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
