Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Jules Winnfield (ranked 8722 p4p, 757 weight class) and Roger Gauthier (ranked 7387 p4p, 706 weight class). Roger Gauthier is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Winnfield closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Winnfield (4) vs (0) Gauthier Winnfield is looking to take a break and control but Gauthier is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Gauthier is trying to control Winnfield's posture but Winnfield avoids it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Winnfield happy to just control the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Winnfield trying to control the action but Gauthier is working from the bottom. Winnfield is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gauthier is not content to let Winnfield control the position. Gauthier tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gauthier keeps trying to improve his position. Gauthier trying to remain calm as Winnfield controls from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Winnfield wants to control but Gauthier is keeping him busy. Gauthier has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Winnfield is working to tighten his grip on Gauthier's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Gauthier has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Winnfield is really squeezing tight and eventually Gauthier passes out! Winnfield breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
