Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Puller (ranked 1519 p4p, 181 weight class) and Kalle Svensson (ranked 1861 p4p, 230 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Svensson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Puller is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Svensson, into his guard.

Puller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Svensson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Puller has managed to get both his arms back between Svensson's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Svensson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Puller is working away from the top position though.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

A quick step to the side and Puller tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Svensson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Puller.

Svensson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Svensson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Svensson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Puller knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Kalle Svensson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Svensson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Kalle Svensson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
