Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramon Nogueira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Anderson! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson misses with a head kick.
Anderson throws a series of punches but Nogueira avoids them all with ease. Nogueira tries to clinch but Anderson is having none of it. Nogueira moves in looking to clinch but Anderson pushes him off. Anderson throws a head kick that Nogueira semi-blocks.
Nogueira swats away the attempt to clinch by Anderson. Nogueira throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Nogueira lands a body shot.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Nogueira tries to get back to half guard but can't. Nogueira wants to control but Anderson is having none of it. Anderson prevents Nogueira from getting the reversal. Anderson blocks Nogueira's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Anderson prevents Nogueira from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson controlling from mount. Anderson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Anderson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Nogueira wants to hold on but Anderson pushes him away. Nogueira tries to reverse the position but Anderson maintains control. Anderson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Nogueira can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Nogueira is looking to get to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nogueira is breathing heavily. Nogueira wants to hold on but Anderson pushes him away. Anderson trying to control but Nogueira is having none of it. Anderson controlling the position easily from mount.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Anderson has control of Nogueira's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nogueira regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson prevents Nogueira from getting the reversal. Anderson mounts Nogueira! Really nice guard pass there! Anderson wants to control the pace but Nogueira is squirming around nicely. Nogueira is bucking up trying to escape but Anderson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nogueira is looking to get to half guard. Anderson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Nogueira can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Nogueira tries to lock up and control but Anderson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Anderson content just to control the position here. Nogueira is squirming around, avoiding Anderson's attempts to control the action. Nogueira is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Anderson dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Nogueira with a poor takedown and Anderson counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Anderson shoots for a double leg takedown but Nogueira sprawls well. He's pushed Anderson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Anderson is looking to clinch. Nogueira fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Anderson sprawls well initially but Nogueira persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Nogueira will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Anderson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Nogueira. Anderson kicks Nogueira off and gets back to his feet. Anderson swats away the attempt to clinch by Nogueira. Anderson gets a clinch. Nogueira wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Anderson has him pressed against the cage. Anderson prevents Nogueira from breaking the clinch. Anderson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Anderson throws a head kick that half lands.
Anderson fails to land the takedown. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Nogueira gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Anderson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Anderson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Anderson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nogueira's head. Nogueira gets back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson sitting in guard here, content to control. Anderson won't allow Nogueira to sweep him here. Nogueira will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Anderson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Nogueira had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Anderson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Nogueira Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Anderson's back instead. Nogueira lands a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson manages to reverse the position and now he's in Nogueira's guard. Nice work there by Anderson.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Anderson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nogueira was well out of range. Poor timing from Anderson. Nogueira tries to clinch but Anderson moves out of range. Anderson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Anderson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Anderson shoots in and bounces Nogueira off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Nogueira tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson won't allow Nogueira to get back to his feet. Nogueira wants to sweep but no luck. Nogueira is trying to keep Anderson in close.
Anderson wants to control from the top but Nogueira keeps moving. Nogueira is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Nogueira looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Anderson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Anderson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Anderson decides to take the fight back to the feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Anderson. Anderson keeps the fight on the outside. Nogueira feints and as Anderson raises his hands in defense, Nogueira changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Anderson is trying to control the position but Nogueira postures up. Nogueira in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Nogueira trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nogueira is really struggling to control Anderson but he's trying to hold on to the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Anderson looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nogueira looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Anderson looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Nogueira not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Anderson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Nogueira, up you get! Ramon Nogueira is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Anderson stuffs the takedown. Anderson feints and as Nogueira raises his hands in defense, Anderson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Nogueira wants to sweep but no luck. Anderson throwing strikes but missing. Nogueira keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully. Josh Anderson has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson stands up from guard. Let's bang! Nogueira lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Nogueira takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Anderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Anderson slips nicely into half guard. Anderson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Anderson seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Nogueira to get to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Nogueira as Anderson shoots in. Nogueira lands a nice hook to Anderson's body. Anderson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Anderson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ramon Nogueira has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Anderson. Nogueira shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Anderson as he avoids it easily. Anderson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Anderson tries to control but Nogueira wriggling away. Ramon Nogueira has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Josh Anderson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Anderson blocks Nogueira's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Josh Anderson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Anderson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
