Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Morrison Lee (ranked 403 p4p, 52 weight class) and Alexander Nevsky (ranked 1075 p4p, 134 weight class). Lee's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Pretender. The crowd seem to be enjoying Nevsky's choice of entrance music: Red Army Choir - Katusha. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Morrison Lee! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Nevsky! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nevsky throws a nice outside leg kick. Lee has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nevsky. Nevsky slips under a jab. A jab lands there for Nevsky.
It looks like Morrison Lee has been cut. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Nevsky, right into the meat.
Nevsky throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
It looked like Lee wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Nevsky dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lee. That did some damage! Nevsky avoids the head kick by Lee.
Lee has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Martial Arts Dojo in the buildup to the fight. Lee throws a combination that misses and Nevsky counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Lee misses with an uppercut. Lee on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Nevsky. Nevsky obviously looking to wear him down.
Nevsky misses with a right hand and Lee counters with a lovely shot to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nevsky tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nevsky looks to throw a body kick and Lee counters with a body kick. Lee is looking to slow Nevsky down with leg kicks. Lee throws a lazy head kick and Nevsky connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Lee with a jab. Nevsky throws a leg kick but Lee checks it. Lee takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Lee ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Lee just misses with a punch to the body.
Lee slips a jab from Nevsky. Nevsky chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lee can pounce on him.
Nevsky misses with a looping right. Lee misses with a lunging right hand
and Nevsky counters with a straight right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nevsky takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Nevsky lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Nevsky bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lee swings for the body but Nevsky moves out of range.

and Nevsky counters with a crisp right hand that drops Lee! Nevsky lets Lee back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Lee is rocked! Nevsky cracks the inside of Lee's front leg. Oh Lee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nevsky cracks Lee with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Lee falls to his knees and Nevsky doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alexander Nevsky! Alexander Nevsky is the new lightweight champion! Alexander Nevsky thanked the fans post fight for their support.
