Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Lane (ranked 5894 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerede Baya (ranked 5900 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dylan Lane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jerede Baya! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lane gets a clinch. Lane softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Lane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Baya shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Lane counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lane. Lane escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baya closes the distance and clinches up with Lane, looking for a takedown. Baya pushes Lane against the cage but Lane circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Lane closes the distance and lands a one-two. Baya with a lazy takedown attempt and Lane counters by moving into the clinch. Dylan Lane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerede Baya. Lane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lane takes the fight into the clinch. Baya is trying to break the clinch but Lane is controlling him. Lane successfully pulls guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Baya wants to control from the top but Lane keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Baya has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lane is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baya throws a big elbow that misses. Baya is looking to stand up but Lane won't let him. Lane is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Baya trying to control but Lane is working from the bottom. Baya stays in close to Lane's body and controls the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Baya stops Lane from standing up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lane scores with a head kick. Baya tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Baya fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A nice combination there by Lane.
Baya looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Lane tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Baya manages to circle out of the way. Baya misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lane tries to land a front kick but Baya steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Baya dives in and grabs Lane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lane pushes down on Baya's head and hops out. Lane tries to bum rush Baya with a series of wild strikes but Baya uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Baya tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baya swinging wildly here.

Lane attempts a counter takedown but Baya avoids it well and moves away. Baya tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lane swivels and escapes. Baya looks winded! Lane stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Lane moves into range and clinches up with Baya. Lane content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Baya is trying to break the clinch but Lane is controlling him. Lane is looking for a takedown. Lane fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A bit of stalling here from Lane.
Baya tries a knee to the head but Lane blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baya fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Lane keeps control of Baya as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Lane lands a left hand.
Lane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lane moves into the clinch. Baya fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Lane manages to pull guard.
Baya is looking to work some ground and pound but Lane has wrist control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Baya wants to stand and escape but instead Lane has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Lane wants to pass the guard but Baya is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dylan Lane dominated that round. That's time! Lane's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Dylan Lane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lane forces Baya back against the cage and clinches. Lane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lane leaves Baya with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lane is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Baya can do to turn this around? Baya ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lane moves away. Lane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Baya is trying to drag Lane to the mat but Lane just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Baya is trying to pull guard but Lane turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Baya is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lane. Dylan Lane is winning the standup battle so far. Lane leaves Baya with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Lane darts in and clinches Baya up against the cage. Baya tries to pull guard but Lane won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Baya decides to pull guard. Lane wants to get up but he can't break Baya's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Baya is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Lane gets to his feet - Baya follows without any prompting. Lane gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Dylan Lane has scored more points in the clinch so far. Lane gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Baya jumps guard and drags Lane to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. This has been an exciting period of action! Baya working for a triangle but Lane defends it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lane trying to control but Baya is working from the bottom. Lane loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Baya pushes a forearm under Lane's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Lane is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
