Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leibniz Gud (ranked 8935 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Goats (ranked 23544 p4p, 0 weight class). Travis Goats has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Leibniz Gud's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leibniz Gud! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Travis Goats! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gud blocks the body kick.
Gud instigates a clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Gud. Goats throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Gud missing with knees to the body.
Goats wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Gud manages to break the clinch.
Goats misses with a wild combination.
Gud fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Goats to the ground. Gud is now in Goats's guard. Gud is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Goats working a defensive guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gud is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Goats holds on and takes a little breather. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gud is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gud sitting in guard here, content to control. Goats looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gud will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gud wants to pass the guard but Goats is keeping the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Gud on the wrong end of a nice hook. Goats fails to land the takedown. Gud scores with a takedown into Goats's guard. Gud is standing up over Goats. Goats looks to escape but Gud dives into side control.
Goats is not content to let Gud control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gud cracks Goats with an elbow. That is naaassty. A lull in the action here as Gud stalls from top position. Goats can't do much from the bottom here. Gud scores with a couple of short elbows. Goats tries to bench press Gud off him but Gud keeps the position. Gud wants to stand but Goats is controlling his arm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gud is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Gud tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Goats looking for a sweep but Gud has passed into full mount! Oh no! Goats tries to hold on but Gud pushes him away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Goats working to try and regain half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leibniz Gud dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Gud shoots in for a takedown but Goats shows good takedown defense. Goats goes for a double leg but Gud avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gud continues to drive forward. Gud changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Gud moves into the clinch successfully.
Gud's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gud shoots in but no luck this time. Goats shoots in for a takedown but Gud shows good takedown defense. Gud feinted with a counter takedown. Gud shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Leibniz Gud overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gud trying to control the position from guard on top but Goats is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gud's corner is telling him to maintain position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gud seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Goats for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goats trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Gud forces his way into half guard. Gud frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Goats tries to hold on but Gud postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goats working to try and regain half guard.
Gud is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Goats can do to turn this around? Gud tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Gud tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gud with good strikes from the mount here!

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gud is looking to stand but Goats has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Gud controlling the pace for now. Goats is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gud controlling the position easily from mount. Goats tries to hold on but Gud postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leibniz Gud dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Gud fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Goats sprawls well initially but Gud persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gud looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Goats wants to control but Gud is keeping busy.
Gud looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Goats tries to roll over but Gud keeps him under control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gud in particular looking to stall. Goats is staying active underneath Gud, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Gud wants to pass to mount but Goats is defending the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Gud defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Goats. Gud went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Gud does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Goats misses with a few strikes there.
Goats takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Gud instigates a clinch. Gud manages to break the clinch.
Gud shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Goats's guard. Goats manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Goats throws a head kick that misses and Gud counters with a nice kick to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gud throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Goats was covering up waiting for the punch and Gud finishes the takedown easily into guard. Gud slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gud lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Goats wants to get back to his feet but Gud is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gud sitting in guard, not really doing much. Gud has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Gud works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gud is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Gud drops an elbow to the side of Goats's head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gud wants to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Leibniz Gud showed his dominance in that final round. Well Gud has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
