Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Christian Buckley (ranked 25367 p4p, 0 weight class) and Weird Klanshnikov (ranked 3785 p4p, 423 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Christian Buckley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Weird Klanshnikov! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buckley gets tackled into the cage by Klanshnikov. Klanshnikov maintains the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Klanshnikov - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Buckley wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Buckley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Buckley tries for a takedown but Klanshnikov manages to get underhooks.
Buckley is looking to break free of the clinch but Klanshnikov has double underhooks. Klanshnikov decides to pull guard. Buckley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Buckley not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Klanshnikov throws his legs up looking for a submission but Buckley uses it to pass to side control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Klanshnikov can do anything to dispel that myth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A lull in the action here as Buckley stalls from top position. Buckley's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Klanshnikov is looking for a sweep. Klanshnikov managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Buckley.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Klanshnikov is looking for a sweep. Buckley misses with the ground and pound. Buckley is looking to take a break and control but Klanshnikov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Klanshnikov sneaks back into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Klanshnikov trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Klanshnikov tries to hold on but Buckley pushes him away. Klanshnikov manages to regain half guard. Good work. Klanshnikov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Buckley controlling the action here. Klanshnikov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Klanshnikov looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Buckley content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Klanshnikov is not content to let Buckley control the position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Klanshnikov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Buckley pulls his head out easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Klanshnikov is trying to maintain the position but Buckley is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Klanshnikov throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Buckley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Klanshnikov fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Buckley to the ground. Klanshnikov is now in Buckley's guard. Buckley pushes Klanshnikov off and gets back to his feet.
Klanshnikov fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Klanshnikov throws a head kick that misses. Klanshnikov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Buckley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Buckley appears to be looking for a big counter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Christian Buckley will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Buckley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Klanshnikov but Klanshnikov pushes him off and we're back to square one. Buckley moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromKlanshnikov. Klanshnikov moves into the clinch. Buckley prevents the takedown attempt.
Buckley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Klanshnikov connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Buckley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Klanshnikov's half guard. Klanshnikov is trying to escape back to his feet but Buckley uses the scramble to pass into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Buckley controlling the position. Klanshnikov is looking to reverse the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Klanshnikov is trying to work for a sweep but Buckley has mounted him! Klanshnikov tries to hold on but Buckley postures up. Buckley sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Buckley misses with a head shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Buckley controlling the pace for now. Klanshnikov is squirming around, avoiding Buckley's attempts to control the action. Buckley controlling the position easily from mount. Buckley avoids the attempt from Klanshnikov to control. Klanshnikov is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buckley trying to control but Klanshnikov is having none of it. Klanshnikov tries to hold on but Buckley pushes him away. Klanshnikov bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Klanshnikov postures up.
Klanshnikov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Klanshnikov looking to sit in guard and control but Buckley gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Klanshnikov trying to keep a closed guard but Buckley is proving a slippery customer.
Christian Buckley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buckley is stalling in the full guard. Buckley seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Klanshnikov for as long as he can get away with. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Klanshnikov is trying to keep Buckley in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christian Buckley dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Klanshnikov closes the distance and clinches. Klanshnikov jumps guard and drags Buckley to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Klanshnikov can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Buckley controls the pace. Klanshnikov is looking to stand up but Buckley isn't so interested in that idea. Buckley controlling from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Klanshnikov is trying to keep Buckley in close.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Buckley is trying to control the position but Klanshnikov postures up. Buckley avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Buckley doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Klanshnikov advances position into side control! Klanshnikov wants to stand but Buckley is controlling his arm. Buckley regains half guard. Buckley is trying to get back to full guard. Klanshnikov is looking for a kimura but Buckley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Klanshnikov to get the leverage. Buckley trying to hold on to Klanshnikov's head to control him but Klanshnikov postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buckley is controlling Klanshnikov's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Klanshnikov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Klanshnikov moves into range and clinches up with Buckley. Klanshnikov pushes Buckley back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Buckley breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Buckley lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Klanshnikov backs up against the cage.
Buckley fails with the takedown. Klanshnikov now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Klanshnikov as Buckley shoots in. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Klanshnikov has Buckley up against the cage in a clinch.
Klanshnikov pulls guard. Klanshnikov not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Klanshnikov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Buckley on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Klanshnikov is thwarting Buckley's attempts to control the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Klanshnikov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Weird Klanshnikov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Christian Buckley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Klanshnikov winds up and cracks Buckley with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Weird Klanshnikov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Buckley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
