Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pele Ronaldo (ranked 675 p4p, 26 weight class) and Jerome Steel (ranked 946 p4p, 37 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pele Ronaldo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerome Steel!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel lands a right hook to the body.

Ronaldo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Steel napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Ronaldo is trying to get an arm triangle but Steel is defending well.

You can see the frustration on Steel's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Steel parries the strikes from Ronaldo easily there. Ronaldo is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Steel to escape.
Steel is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Steel is bucking up trying to escape but Ronaldo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Ronaldo has hold of Steel's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Steel manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pele Ronaldo will probably get the nod.

The fighters circle momentarily. Steel darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ronaldo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Steel to the mat! Steel manages to get full guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Steel manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Steel is pressed up against the cage. Ronaldo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Steel down to the mat. Steel avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Ronaldo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Ronaldo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Steel pinned against the cage. Steel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ronaldo takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Steel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ronaldo manages to avoid it.
Ronaldo attempts a counter takedown but Steel avoids it well and moves away.

Steel fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Steel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ronaldo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Steel throws out the jab.
Ronaldo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Ronaldo is rocked!
Steel steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Ronaldo is out on his feet! Steel sets himself and nearly takes Ronaldo's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jerome Steel!
A relieved looking Jerome Steel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
