The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanagul avoids the body shot from Greene.
We've been hearing reports that Greene has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Tanagul pushes Greene up against the cage in a clinch.
Greene is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Tanagul can't fight it off and eventually Greene manages to take the fight to the floor. Tanagul looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tanagul can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Greene controls the pace.

Greene working the ground and pound but Tanagul is defending the strikes.
Greene postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Greene has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tanagul is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Greene yanks on the arm and Tanagul is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Greene.
