The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evela throws out a loose jab but Luxor uses good head movement to avoid it.
Luxor misses with a hook.
Luxor takes a swing at Evela's ribcage but misses.

Evela closes the distance and clinches.
Evela is trying to pull guard but Luxor turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Evela wants to stall.
Luxor lands with a short shot to the head.
Luxor is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Luxor lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Evela backwards.
Luxor lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Luxor lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
With the fighters up against the cage, Evela throws an elbow but misses.
Luxor pushes Evela back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Luxor lands with a short punch from the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Luxor lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Oh Evela is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Evela misses with a hook from the clinch.
Evela seems to have got his legs back now.
Evela tries to pull guard but Luxor won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Evela. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Luxor comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Evela is trying to maintain a safe position but Luxor gets an underhook and turns Evela into the cage.
Evela throws a head punch that misses.
Evela has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Luxor is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Luxor creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Evela's defenses.
Luxor lands a left hand that snaps the head of Evela backwards.
Evela tries to pull guard but Luxor forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Evela is working for takedown but Luxor is calmly controlling the position for now.
Luxor lands a shot to the body.
Evela is breathing heavily.
Luxor creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Evela's defenses.

Luxor drops Evela onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Evela is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Luxor lands a vicious elbow to the side of Evela's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Luxor tries to finish him with strikes but Evela still seems able to defend himself so Luxor steps back and lets Evela get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Luxor lands with a good body shot.
Luxor ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Luxor clinches up with Evela and pushes him back against the cage.

Luxor gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Luxor cracks Evela with a nice body shot.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Luxor.
A short left from Luxor.
Luxor creates a bit of distance and unloads a huge uppercut that knocks Evela out cold! The ref dives in to break up the two fighters! The fight is over!
