Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Howard Stern (ranked 2528 p4p, 361 weight class) and Dennis Nilsen (ranked 2135 p4p, 309 weight class). Stern comes into the arena with The Great American Nightmare blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Howard Stern! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dennis Nilsen! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nilsen keeps the fight on the outside. Nilsen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stern was covering up waiting for the punch and Nilsen finishes the takedown easily into guard. Stern kicks Nilsen off and gets to his feet. Stern has been working on his boxing with his coaches at FIERCE - {{$750}} - 15 Elite Coaches in the buildup to the fight. A head kick misses from Stern. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nilsen is defended easily by Stern. Stern thuds his right hand into Nilsen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Stern looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Stern fails in his attempt to clinch. Nilsen throws out a counter right but Stern avoids it with no problem. Nilsen rushes Stern and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nilsen gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Stern regains guard.
Stern trying to keep a closed guard but Nilsen is proving a slippery customer.
Nilsen distracts Stern with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nilsen won't allow Stern to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nilsen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stern looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Nilsen puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Stern wants to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nilsen throwing shots but Stern is blocking nicely. Nilsen is trying for a kimura here. Stern looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Nilsen wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Dennis Nilsen! Dennis Nilsen decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little. The defeated Howard Stern had this to say: 'I blame Robin and those big G's.'.
