Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Emperor Severus (ranked 6090 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mac Daddy (ranked 5963 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daddy takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Daddy closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Severus did well to prevent Daddy getting side control.
Severus on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Severus tries to get out of the position.
Daddy throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Severus to regain full guard.
Severus wants to stand up but Daddy is controlling him.
Severus looking to control.
Daddy passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Daddy lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Severus down.
Daddy decides to stand up, so the ref orders Severus to his feet.
Severus falls off balance throwing a combination
and Daddy counters with a single leg into guard. Severus didn't expect that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Daddy lands a couple of elbows.

Daddy stands up from Severus's guard - Daddy perhaps looking for a knockout.
Daddy darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Daddy controlling the pace.
Daddy wants to work for an arm triangle but Severus is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Daddy is controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Let's hope that Daddy has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Severus wants to control but Daddy is keeping busy.
Daddy is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Daddy not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Daddy seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Daddy's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Severus is looking to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mac Daddy dominated that round.

Severus lands a lovely overhand right.
Daddy drives through and clinches with Severus against the cage.
Daddy has Severus pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Severus manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Severus wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Daddy has him pressed against the cage.
Daddy keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Severus's efforts to push away.
Daddy breaks the clinch.
Severus fails to land with a series of punches.
Severus throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nice body kick from Daddy.

Daddy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Severus shoots in but Daddy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Daddy tries to counter with a clinch but Severus shakes him off and moves away.
No luck for Daddy with that takedown attempt.
Emperor Severus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mac Daddy.

Sloppy strikes from Severus. Those never looked like landing.
Severus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Daddy closes the distance and clinches.
A left hand lands to the body for Daddy.
Severus working hard to break the clinch.
Severus is trying to force a seperation but Daddy has the dominant position.
Severus is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Daddy has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Severus clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Daddy is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Severus with him. Severus is trying to defend but Daddy has an arm under the chin now! Severus grimaces and is forced to tap out!
