The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A nice side step and Dan releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jarred Hyde will probably get the nod.

Hyde stands up over Dan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Dan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hyde accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hyde fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dan, pushing him back against the cage.
Hyde is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dan can do to turn this around?

Dan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dan manages to end up in side control.
Dan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hyde. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dan throws a strike aimed at the side of Hyde's head but Hyde avoids it well.
