Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Castor Antonopolous (ranked 4650 p4p, 443 weight class) and Boris Matusov (ranked 4198 p4p, 415 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Boris Matusov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Boris Matusov!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matusov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Matusov is looking to take a break and control but Antonopolous is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Matusov tries to advance to mount but can't.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Matusov prevents Antonopolous from escaping the position.
Matusov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Matusov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Matusov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Antonopolous keeps working.
Matusov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Antonopolous is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Antonopolous is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Matusov is working to tighten his grip on Antonopolous's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Antonopolous has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Matusov is really squeezing tight and eventually Antonopolous passes out! Matusov breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
