The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele throws a jab but it's blocked by Keates.
Steele displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Keates throws out the jab.
A quick step to the side and Steele tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Keates slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Keates has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Steele is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Keates lands a left and a right that send Steele crashing to the mat, dazed. Keates thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Steele tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Keates was well out of range. Poor timing from Steele.
Oh Steele is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
