Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tobias Marshall (ranked 531 p4p, 59 weight class) and Felipe Feltre (ranked 793 p4p, 89 weight class). Feltre has chosen Someday Never Comes as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Felipe Feltre has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tobias Marshall's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tobias Marshall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Felipe Feltre! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Feltre throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A shot to the body from Marshall misses and Feltre counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Marshall thinking. Marshall throws the left hand but Feltre avoids the punch easily. Feltre buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Feltre. That's going to slow Marshall down. A swing and a miss from Feltre. Marshall connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Feltre's jab looks to have found its range, popping Marshall under the eye. Jab from Feltre. Marshall takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Marshall is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Marshall gets in close and instigates a clinch. Marshall has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Feltre jumps guard but Marshall turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Feltre prevents a body shot from Marshall. Feltre misses with a punch to the body.
A head punch on the inside from Feltre fails to land. Marshall pushes Feltre back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Marshall has a couple of punches blocked by Feltre.
That's one minute gone in the round. Feltre tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Marshall just stands there and leans against the cage. Feltre tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Marshall's elbow. Feltre misses with a short punch on the inside. Marshall misses with a body punch.

Marshall tries to work over Feltre's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Feltre is trying to pull guard but Marshall has him pressed against the cage. Tobias Marshall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felipe Feltre. Marshall swings wildly with an uppercut but Feltre uses good head movement to avoid it. Feltre is trying to pull guard but Marshall turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Feltre tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Marshall smiles and moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Marshall throws a body shot but no joy. Marshall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Feltre.

Marshall feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Feltres jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Feltre is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Feltre scores with a jab to the jaw. Marshall lands a right hook to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Marshall takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Marshall cracks Feltre with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Feltre is still on wobbly legs! Can Marshall finish him? The fight moves into the clinch position. Feltre seems to have recovered his senses. Feltre tries a body shot but Marshall blocks it.

Marshall throws a head punch that misses. Feltre manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Marshall tries to stand but Feltre is controlling from the bottom. Feltre trying to keep a closed guard but Marshall is proving a slippery customer.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Feltre has his foot on Marshall's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Marshall works his way back into a safe position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Feltre is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That was a close round but I would say that Tobias Marshall will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

It looked like Marshall wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Feltre blocks a jab. Feltre has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Felipe Feltre seems to be getting the better of the standup. Marshall throws a shot from downtown. Feltre moves away and avoids it. Feltre takes a jab right on the kisser.

Marshall is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Marshall swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Feltre controls Marshall momentarily but Marshall frees himself. Marshall wants to pass the guard but Feltre is keeping the position. Marshall landing some decent shots from guard. Marshall trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Feltre is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Marshall tries to free his leg and advance position but Feltre is retaining full guard. Feltre has momentary wrist control but Marshall slips an elbow through the middle. Feltre is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Marshall defends well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Feltre keeping full guard, as Marshall tries to pass. Marshall trying to control but Feltre is working from the bottom. Feltre working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Marshall has passed into half guard!

Feltre might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Marshall haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Marshall wants to free his trapped foot but Feltre is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Marshall is stalling here. Feltre is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Marshall seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Feltre has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Feltre content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Feltre is trying to get an arm triangle but Marshall is defending well. Feltre is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Marshall looks calm but he's in trouble here. Feltre gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Marshall is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Feltre lets go of the hold and Marshall can pop his arm back in it's socket.
