The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raice misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Roosevelt blocks a low kick nicely.
Raice has a takedown stuffed.
Roosevelt throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Raice's waist but Raice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roosevelt off to one side.
Roosevelt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Raice gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Raice tries to move to mount but Roosevelt blocks the move with his legs.

Raice has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Raice working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Roosevelt is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Raice has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Roosevelt taps out!
