Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gamzat Gamzatov (ranked 3653 p4p, 480 weight class) and Boogie Rollins (ranked 4319 p4p, 547 weight class). Gamzatov's entrance music is Entrance Song. A fine choice. Rollins is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Fish Fight- King Khan and BBQ Show. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boogie Rollins! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rollins drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Rollins scoring with punches to the head and body. Rollins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gamzatov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rollins's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Gamzatov wants to sweep here but Rollins controlling him for the moment. Gamzatov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rollins scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Gamzatov looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Gamzatov is trying to keep Rollins in close.
Rollins drops back looking for a leg! Gamzatov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gamzatov manages to kick Rollins off! Rollins jumps back into Gamzatov's guard. Gamzatov is looking for a triangle but Rollins pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rollins postures up.
Rollins working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gamzatov's head. Gamzatov has momentary wrist control but Rollins slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rollins slips nicely into half guard. Gamzatov is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rollins scores with a couple of nice shots. Rollins landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. The fighters are battling for position here. Gamzatov manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Rollins won't allow Gamzatov to sweep him here. Gamzatov has momentary wrist control but Rollins slips an elbow through the middle. Gamzatov controlling Rollins's posture. Gamzatov looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Rollins with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Rollins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gamzatov tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rollins controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Gamzatov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rollins is one step ahead there. Rollins chips away with some ground and pound. Gamzatov is looking for a triangle but Rollins pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rollins engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Rollins postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Rollins preventing the sweep. Gamzatov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rollins can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rollins content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Rollins slips nicely into half guard. Gamzatov makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gamzatov. Gamzatov has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rollins is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gamzatov. Gamzatov is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gamzatov manages to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rollins looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Rollins lands strikes from half guard. Ground and pound from Rollins.
Gamzatov is rocked! Rollins scores with a big shot! Gamzatov's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Gamzatov! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
