Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Heart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Moreschi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Heart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Moreschi! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moreschi fails with a takedown attempt. Moreschi fails to land the takedown. Moreschi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Heart as he jumps to the side. Ricardo Heart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodrigo Moreschi. Moreschi fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Moreschi gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Heart controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Moreschi looking to control.
Heart won't allow Moreschi to get back to his feet. Heart works a leg free and moves into half guard. Heart stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heart throwing shots but Moreschi is blocking nicely. Heart has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Heart stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Heart rushes Moreschi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Moreschi is trying to drag Heart to the mat but Heart just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Heart keeps control of Moreschi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Moreschi can't break the clinch.
Moreschi tries to break the clinch but Heart is controlling the position. Heart ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Heart no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Heart is on top in guard.
Heart is breathing heavily. Heart sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moreschi is trying to keep Heart in close.
Heart seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Heart wants to control from the top but Moreschi keeps moving. Heart slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Heart won't allow Moreschi to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moreschi throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Moreschi wants to get back to his feet but Heart is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Heart passes easily into side control. Nice work. Moreschi is looking to reverse the position. Moreschi can't do much from the bottom here. Moreschi throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Heart working away.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Moreschi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Heart counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Heart avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Heart stands and steps away. Moreschi gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Heart shoots in and bounces Moreschi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Moreschi looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricardo Heart dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Heart jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Moreschi clinches but Heart breaks the clinch and Heart counters with a lovely straight right hand! Rodrigo Moreschi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moreschi doesn't succeed with the takedown and Heart decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Moreschi's guard. Heart throws and elbow that misses. Moreschi uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Heart's guard. Nice move by Moreschi! Heart is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Moreschi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moreschi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Heart holds on and takes a little breather. Moreschi trying to control but Heart is working from the bottom. Heart is pulling down on Moreschi's head to control his posture. Moreschi postures up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Moreschi has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Heart is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Moreschi is trying to break the clinch but Heart has him pressed against the cage. Moreschi trying to control the position but instead, Heart has worked for underhooks and has pushed Moreschi into the cage. Moreschi landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Heart wants to get back to striking at distance but Moreschi won't allow it.
Heart wants to stall.
Moreschi is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Heart is keeping busy. Moreschi pulls guard successfully.
Moreschi wants to get back to his feet but Heart is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moreschi throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Heart escapes and throws Moreschi's legs to the side, diving into side control! Heart happy to just control the position for now. Moreschi is trying to improve his position. Heart working away. Heart decides to stand up, so the ref orders Moreschi to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Moreschi with a lazy takedown attempt and Heart counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Moreschi! Heart content just to control the position here. Moreschi is looking to get to half guard. Heart sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Ricardo Heart overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Moreschi is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricardo Heart dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Moreschi has his takedown stuffed and Heart holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Heart looking to stall.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Heart tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Moreschi smiles and moves away.

and Heart counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Moreschi is trying to stand.
Heart wants to take a breather but Moreschi is having none of it. Heart wants to stand up but Moreschi is controlling the position.
Moreschi flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moreschi is trying to stand.
Heart is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Moreschi! Heart tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Moreschi is trying desperately to improve position. Heart tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Heart wants to control the pace but Moreschi is squirming around nicely. Heart avoids the attempt from Moreschi to control.

Moreschi blocking the ground and pound. Moreschi tries to buck Heart off but he can't manage it. Heart controlling from mount. Heart pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Moreschi sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Heart thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Moreschi's head. Heart controlling the action here. Heart is looking to advance position but Moreschi won't allow it. Heart stops Moreschi from getting back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Heart decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Heart dodges the punch combination from Moreschi.
Rodrigo Moreschi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ricardo Heart is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Moreschi misses with a wild combination.
And that's the end of the fight! Ricardo Heart showed his dominance in that final round. Well Heart has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
