Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Wilson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jax Steel! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel tries for a takedown but Wilson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Wilson tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Steel manages to circle out of the way. Wilson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Steel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jax Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steel tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Wilson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Steel is looking to stand back up but Wilson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Steel. Steel pushes Wilson off looking to stand but Wilson dives back in and keeps control.

Wilson controlling the action here. Steel tries to kick Wilson off but Wilson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson decides to stand up. Wilson gets a clinch. Wilson stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Wilson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A hook to the body from Wilson.
Steel wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Wilson lands a body punch in the clinch. Steel looks winded! Wilson lands on the inside with an uppercut. Steel wants to get back to striking at distance but Wilson won't allow it.
Wilson lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Wilson drags the fight down to the ground.
Wilson has his feet on Steel's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Wilson feints a jab promting Steel to slip. Wilson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Steel slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Steel is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wilson clinches up with Steel and pushes him back against the cage. Still in the clinch, Wilson scores with a nice short uppercut. Steel is still on wobbly legs! Can Wilson finish him? A nice right hand lands inside from Wilson. Wilson unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Steel! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Wilson is unloading with more strikes now! Steel drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Wilson! After winning the bout, Sam Wilson thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
