Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Santana! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
35 - 22 - 1, fighting out of New York, 4 Spar! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santana throws a combination that misses and Spar counters with a nice kick to the body. Santana clinches up against the ropes. A head punch on the inside from Santana fails to land. Santana fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Santana swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Santana swings wildly with an uppercut but Spar uses good head movement to avoid it. Santana swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Santana scores with a shot to the side of Spar's head. Spar is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real. Spar lands a right hand that snaps the head of Santana backwards. Santana fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Spar scores with a push kick. Santana is breathing heavily. Spar lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Santana throws a sloppy head kick and Spar moves out of range easily. Santana closes the distance but Spar moves to the side and Spar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santana wants to clinch but Spar slips to the side enabling Spar to counter with a crisp jab. We've been told by Santana's head coaches at VEGAS Top Team [$699/week] that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Santana tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Spar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Spar displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Santana throws out the jab. Santana throws a right hand that Spar ducks under and follows up with a left that Spar also avoids with ease. Santana misses with a combination
and Spar counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Spar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Santana was well out of range. Poor timing from Spar. Marcus Santana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Spar circles away from the clinch attempt and Spar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Santana tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Spar replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Santana blocks it well. Santana misses with a double jab
and Spar counters with a nice body kick. Spar moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santana tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Spar paws at him with a jab and circles away. Santana wants to clinch but Spar slips to the side and Spar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A chopping leg kick lands by Spar. Santana misses with a hook
and Spar counters with a big right hook, that lands right on the temple! Santana goes down! Spar rushes to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Santana is up to one knee.... 8,9....10! He didn't make it! This fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). 4 Spar! Our winner, 4 Spar, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
