Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Thiago Cunha and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Simpson rushes Lockwood and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lockwood blocks an elbow strike from Simpson.
Lockwood is looking to control Simpson's arms but Simpson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lockwood has his back to the cage.
Lockwood lands an elbow just above Simpson 's eye.

It looks like OJ Simpson has been cut.

Lockwood pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Simpson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Lockwood has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Simpson is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Simpson wants to get back to his feet.
Simpson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Lockwood throws a right and a left that Simpson avoids nicely.
Simpson takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Simpson shoots for a takedown but Lockwood saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Simpson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lockwood throws a leg kick which misses Simpson's front leg but catches the back leg as Simpson tries to avoid it.
Simpson looks gassed!
Lockwood scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A combination from Lockwood does no damage.
Lockwood throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Lockwood throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Lockwood connects with a solid leg kick.
Lockwood drops Simpson with a beautiful combination! Simpson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lockwood is looking for the KO!

Simpson is rocked!

That has opened up OJ Simpson's cut even more.
Lockwood lands a big head kick that sends Simpson to the canvas! Lockwood follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
