Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Valkenheiser (ranked 4667 p4p, 0 weight class) and Standup Fighter (ranked 6058 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Standup Fighter!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fighter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Valkenheiser's half guard.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Fighter moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Valkenheiser is working to avoid the ground and pound but Fighter connects with a decent elbow.
Valkenheiser manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Valkenheiser is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fighter's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fighter's back!
I really don't envy Fighter right now.
Fighter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Valkenheiser. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This has been an exciting period of action!
